Infinite Blades Among the Stones (Iwa Squad 2)

Mugen, one of the Jonin of Iwagakure no sato had been assigned to be the teacher of one of the graduating squads this year. Making his ways to one of the more well lit training caverns in Iwa, a nice expanse of ground wide open with a gently flowing river cutting across one side, and crystals giving off natural light littering the top of the cavern.

When word had gotten to Mugen about the munchkins that were assigned to his care he had sent out crows with messages to the lot of them to meet him here, about ten minutes or so after he himself had chosen to arrive. Leaning against a wall he would start looking over the dossier he was given on the three.

First Nakita, a member of the mysterious Arachne clan, not much was known about the clan other than a seeming affinity for spiders so Mugen didn't know what to expect technique wise, though the personality that he was given basically said she had a long career in information extraction ahead of her.

Next was Kurai Kura, he was said to be possess a bloodline that gives him access to a unique element of Chakra, he also seemed to be the strong silent type, preferring to let his actions speak louder than his words. Though there was a note about 'Cat Fetish' in the dossier

Finally was Shuhei Shugetsu, who was known to have an even rarer trait the ability to fuse three elements into a whole new element. Forge release, which in theory was not much different than Mugen's own Steel release.

So I'm the first one here looks like. Kurai states as he makes his way towards Mugen in the cavern. Hands in his pocket as he looked almost completely uninterested in having to be there. So you're my new teacher... Well this should be interesting. Kurai would then find a slab of stone to sit on and wait for the others.

""Crystal Cavern number 367"Spoke a Voice as a purple tinted black haired girl slowly walked towards the group writing something in a scroll before rolling it back up putting it in her back pocket. "honestly, so boring being inside."She said folding her hands behind her back lacing her fingers together as her gold eyes glowed like the crystals around them. She examined her surroundings taking note of the various structures, the river, placement of possible traps etc.

the small girl kept a smile on her face as she made it to where an adult which she immediately know was her teacher and a boy which she assumed was a team mate "Helo sensei. ready for some fun?'she asked

It didn't take long for the twerps to start trickling in, first it was the white-haired one with a felinoid fetish and had a unique result to his chakra paper test that had never been seen before. Kurai stuck with the rather disinterested purrsona that the dossier had lead Mugen to believe he would have, what with the non-chalant way of holding himself and just plopping down on a raised slab of stone to await for the others after a mention of how things were going to be interesting.

After him was the dark haired Kunoichi who could be none other than one Nakita Arachne, the only female of the squad that Mugen himself was to train and guide. She mentioned something about it being boring inside, to which the Jonin himself could agree, but he had chosen this place due to the isolation from the rest of the village granting them the ability to go all out without any chance of it spilling over into the living quarters. Nodding in recognition to her comment about fun, but otherwise remaining silent as he awaited the last member of the squad to show.

Finally the third member, the red-haired Shuhei who definitely was the most chipper of the lot of them, once Shuhei had settled in Mugen would stand up straight, stowing the scrolls he had the lot of them he would clear his throat "Good now that everyone is present I will not have to repeat myself, welcome to the first day of the rest of your lives as full fledged Shinobi of this village. Now before we get to the introductions lets start off by showing me everything y'all got. Oh and don't hold back, think about it this way, 'If I am so pathetic that the lot of y'all can kill me then you would need a new sensei anyways'. As for why I am choosing to this before the normal meet and greet, I am of the opinion that you can learn more about a person from how they fight than you can from their words."

To that end Mugen would hold his right arm out holding a seal with his left as metal would seem to just materialize in his right molding and swirling around like water as it formed into the shape of a standard katana, nothing special or fancy, well aside from the fact that as Mugen formed it he left the edge dull as to prevent permanent damage. "Well we can begin whenever you want."

After meeting his teammates Kurai got the feeling that this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. The spider chick concerned him a bit because well what could she be writing in her scroll. The other guy well he just seemed so upbeat that he might compromise missions. This was really a task that Kurai was not comfortable with. But a true shinobi must adapt to any situation.

Heheheh a fight right off the bat? Who would've thought a Jonin would be this interested in a fight with a squad of genin before trying to mix it up. Kurai reaches into his pouch that's concealed by his coat, grabs a kunai and twirls it around his index finger before grabbing it and holding it up towards his face. He then smirks... But still you're heavily outnumbered here sensei. Kurai would wait to see which teammate was gonna make a move or should he take charge and have them follow his lead. Hopefully they can be assets rather than liabilities.

"Actually, if you had done your research on the jounin in this village you would know if anyone is out numbered it is us. His sword style is revered and your are not going to be able to get anywhere near him to be honest."Spoke Nakita pulling her hair into a tight and high messy bun as some of her many layers seem to move as she watched her teammates. As much as Nakita would love to tear into this swordman, She knew she wouldn't do anything but get squashed like a bug that she was kinda portraied as. She was very much a ultility fighter and wouldn't be of much help at the moment taking the lead. She looked towards the final member of the squad "looks like you are up to lead us into battle, lets try not to be killed."She replied trying to be sweet about it but internally she wanted to gag at her attempt of being nice and supportive.

"Well best way to know how to teach you is to see what you know, and how you act in combat. Though looking at straight numbers you are right, I am pretty sure you will find that Young Nakita is quite in right." Mugen would say, keeping his voice and face neutral as his eyes danced over the three genin waiting to see which of the three would make the opening move. Apparently Kurai was too intimidated by the entire ordeal to make the first move, and Nakita seemed to know her skills enough to know that vanguard was not her best spot.

Which left Shuhei, who did not disappoint spitting out a mass of molten metal, which even though Mugen knew that it was a thing he did not see it coming. It was weird seeing another approach at what is basically his clan's entire gimmick, the manipulation of metal. But fortunately the jonin was more than ready to move out of the way of the molten glob as it splattered harmlessly off the wall a few feet behind him.. Seeing the genin hide behind a stalagmite, "Come on, is only one of you capable of action?"

Tch just stay close and watch my rear. Kurai holds the Kunai in his right hand as he holds his left arm out with his palm exposed as he begins to expel a decent amount of dark chakra lightly covering the area. It isn't enough to fully obscure their vision but it does allow a
silhouette of the Jonin to remain visible at his distance. Well I'll give you this you're not stupid at least. Akita was it? Seems we don't have a choice but to work together so let's not make it painful. Look when I tell you to do so I want you to hit me with some sort of jutsu or chakra. Just don't make it a solid construct such as earth or that giant molten metal ball you just used. Kurai had planned to use the shroud to keep the Jonins movements as traceable as possible. while still giving his team cover.Most likely he knows this area. But if we can conceal our movements and play off each others strengths we may be able to get a fatal strike in.

Jutsu Description: This technique is a speciality of the shinobi who have access to Dark chakra, where one causes a dark fog to slowly come forth either by using a pre-existing dark source source, or expelling it from their hands(or mouth if Panther is using).

Nakita allowed the battle to conmence as she took a few steps back moving behind a pillar before allowing her sweat glands  in her hands and feet to activate making a sticky substance. using it much like how one could tree or wall walk but more of a rock climb like a literal insect as from her robes came two more sets of arms. She scaled the wall with ease moving up in the shadows of the ceiling and keeping herself attached to the ceiling with her legs and two of her hands her other four moved in a circle. one holding a bundle and the other three spinning and shaping it adding chakra to the bundle of webbing till it was the size of a basketball "Alright friends.... let's go play."She spoke placing the sack against a spike from the ceiling. She quickly moved away attaching various threads in a web-like pattern to loose spikes of big and small in height and width.

The sound of something very small popped as small spiders began to form from the sack forming 12 medium size spiders about half nakita's own size. they glowed slightly with chakra flowing in them from Nakita. 3 Spiders pushed off the ceiling curling into balls as their skins harden becoming like half size Nakita balls of earth flying at the swordsmen.

Nakita finished her threading of the ceiling above and blended with the shadows waiting for her chance with the other spiders moving to the places Nakita signaled for them to go.

Jutsu/Abilities used:

Mugen listened intently as Kurai blabbed out his plan, the issue with the close quarters that they were in was simple, vocal communication was easily overheard. But at least there was communication involved. The small arena he had chosen seemed to darken almost as if a shadowy veil covered everything, leaving just the little silhouettes of the genin visible, though unfortunately this kind of technique is not one you want to break out when first working with a team, as you can easily get caught in the crossfire.

The next thing the Jounin had heard involved the voice of the teams one and only Kunoichi on the ceiling above him, followed up by a popping noise. His eyes focused then on the third voice, answering Kurai about only being able to work with metal much like mugen's own clan, though the metal that Shuhei used seemed to be far hotter than Mugen's own. Choosing to leap backwards at angle to slip behind a stalagmite Mugen would end up avoiding both attacks that were coming his way, as he would circle around the spike of stone, moving towards the loudest of the trio.

Though the figure moving towards Kurai was none other than a clone of his, while the real mugen had hid himself underground using the shadowy shinobi's own technique against his team.

Techniques Use:

Great stuck on a team with a spider girl... Whoever made these teams has got to be joking. Kurai thinks to himself as he notices Nikita and her abilities in play. Well isn't that just great he replies to Shuhei. Not knowing how to handle the situation and clearly not knowing his team Kurai decides to attempt to wing it. Not really wanting to fight someone he couldn't beat Kurai had nothing to lose. He see's his team engaging and missing ultimately. Kurai takes the kunai in his hand and reaches into his pouch with his free hand to grab another kunai this one with an explosive tag and throws them both almost immediately after grabbing it to a shadowy figure that he see's coming his way. As the kunai nears the enemies chest Kurai causes it to explode with complete disregard to the spiders on the ground.

Nakita looked around from where she sat on the ceiling allowing her third eye to open while her other two closed. from various angles, she was able to watch from the eyes of the spiders that moved to different locations around the cave "Let's see...Sensei is a metal maker but so is the vibrant one of us three.. then you got Mr. darkness that can't seem to keep quiet."She said to herself thinking out loud knowing that for now there was no chance Mugen was going to take to the ceiling yet and why should he, it wasn't like she was planning on doing anything other than observing right? Maybe she just enjoyed hanging upside down with a strand of threads and wanted to bring out some spiders to keep her company and laugh at her teammates.

Nakita opened her other eyes seeing some of the spiders due he work she wished them to in silence almost about ready to make a grand entrance...hopefuly her allies would understand to stay clear when the plan was ready,
